Art in Paradise Pattaya is an indoor 3D trick-art museum. The paintings use forced perspective so that, seen from a marked spot, they read as three-dimensional — the point is to stand inside them and be photographed, not to look at them from a distance.
How to get the most from it
Each work has a standing position and a camera angle marked on the floor. Shot from there, the illusion holds; shot from anywhere else, it collapses.
Come with at least one other person — someone has to take the photograph. Alone, there is much less to gain here.
Planning
- Allow one to two hours, depending on how thoroughly you photograph
- Entirely indoors — a solid fallback for rain or heat
- Suits families and groups of friends
- Check admission in advance
