Mini Siam is a miniature park gathering scale models of significant architecture in one place, split between a Thai section of temples and palaces and a world section of landmark buildings from other countries.
What the format gives you
The value of a scale model is that you can read a whole building's plan and proportions from angles the real thing never offers — a temple's roof structure, a palace layout, forms that otherwise need an aerial view.
Planning
- It is an open-air park — come early or late; midday is hot with little shade
- Allow one to two hours
- Wear walking shoes and bring water and a hat
- Check admission in advance
