North Pattaya Beach is the top end of the Pattaya shore, less crowded than the middle stretch that backs onto the dense run of shops and nightlife — an easier place to sit.
The feel of it
Deckchairs and umbrellas are available as elsewhere along the bay, with restaurants and water sports, but at lower density. It is close to Dolphin Circle and Terminal 21, so food and shopping are a short walk away.
Timing
- Morning — quietest, and good for walking or running the shore
- Late afternoon — better light, cooler air, and the busiest time
- Midday is fierce; stay under an umbrella
Worth knowing
Agree the price for chairs and for any water sport before you start. Parking is on-street along the beach road and limited.
