Ko Phai lies off Pattaya under naval management. The water around it is clear and there is reef, which is why diving operators are interested in it.

Landing is restricted

This is not an open island like Ko Lan. The conditions for going ashore are set by the authority and change; at times tour boats may snorkel the surrounding water but not land.

Check with your boat operator and the authority before travelling, so the day matches what you planned.
