LOF LAND sits on the rim of a disused quarry in Huai Kapi. The cut rock walls, with water standing at the bottom, read convincingly as a canyon, and the owners have laid out the ground around the edge as a cafe and event space built primarily around camera angles.
What is there
- The viewpoint over the quarry, which is the reason to come
- A man-made waterfall and wide lawns to sit on
- The cafe — admission includes one drink
Timing and care
Late afternoon into early evening is the popular slot: the light rakes across the rock face and the heat drops. Midday is harsh and there is little shade.
Parts of the rim are a genuine drop. Stay behind the marked edges and keep small children close, particularly while taking photographs.
